When: Every Sunday until May 12

Where: Bishop O'Connell HS - 6600 Little Falls Rd, Arlington, VA 22213

Time: 12 - 1p (CHECK-IN 11:45a)

Equipment: Scoopers need a lacrosse stick & water bottle only. We suggest labeling ALL equipment with the parents name and phone number. The girls and boys will just need to bring a full-size lacrosse stick (no fiddle sticks) each week which the coaches can help size. The stick should ideally be the length from their arm pit to the tip of their finger, but it is ok to keep it a little longer so you are not buying new sticks every year. We will be using soft lacrosse balls so mouth guards, helmets and googles are not required. Kids should wear cleats (soccer cleats are fine, just not baseball). No other pads are required at this age. 

Uniform: We do not have uniforms. Once assigned a team color, Scoopers are welcome to wear that team colors, but it is not a requirement. 

Games / Drills: All games are simple and non contact. They will teach the very basics of lacrosse (catching, throwing, defense, ground balls etc), following directions, and teamwork. 

** Parent Volunteers Needed ** : Asking for many volunteers to help ensure these games and drills are run well for the kiddos so if you are willing to support, please fill out this form. We do have high school lacrosse players volunteering to help lead sessions, but adult support is sometimes necessary. 

Lastly, ALL PARENTS are REQUIRED to stay on site during the 1-hour time frame.
